By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

Atlanta will roll out the green carpet as Go Green Expo, the largest environmentally focused business and consumer show in the United States, travels to the Cobb Galleria Centre on June 26 – 28. In addition to visiting over 150 interactive booths with new green products and services, guests will mingle with national eco-celebrities, test drive the latest fuel-efficient cars, preview eco-fashion and beauty products, enjoy local acoustic bands, the latest in green building and solar products and more. To boost Atlanta’s “green economy” Go Green Expo is excited to partner with CareerEco to host a green job fair in Atlanta, Saturday and Sunday at the show.

“We are elated to have so many speakers, panels, nonprofit organization and businesses under one roof to share sustainability best practices and help educate the public,” says Bradford Rand, President and CEO of Go Green Expo. “What seems to be a great reflection of the growing green economy even in these tough economic times, we are pleased to see that Atlanta show booth space is nearly sold out.”

Go Green Expo is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, tickets are only $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors and free for kids under the age of 12. In an effort to encourage Atlanta’s business leaders to embrace eco-friendly products, services and practices, the Expo will open its doors on Friday, June 26 from 10 am – 5 pm for a complimentary business to business day. Business buyers, wholesalers, CEO’s, government agencies, procurement officers, and environmental industry professionals are encouraged to attend. Admission is free on Friday with a company business card.
