Metrojet is pleased to announce the arrival of a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) into its growing aircraft fleet. The BBJ is operated, managed and maintained by Metrojet on behalf of the aircraft owner. The aircraft will join the fleet for charter under Metrojet’s Air Operator’s Certificate.
Metrojet assisted the aircraft owner through every facet of the acquisition process, from regulatory compliance, insurance and administration coordination, to the pre-delivery process, including certification, specification verification, inspection, acceptance flight and aircraft delivery. The BBJ can accommodate up to 18 passengers with a guest room and a stateroom, one guest lavatory located in the forward cabin and a VIP aft lavatory with shower. The BBJ has a range of 6,210 nautical miles and can reach a maximum operating speed of Mach.82 at altitudes up to 41,000 feet. “Metrojet will register this BBJ under our AOC charter operation, and the aircraft will be available for charter by the end of the year,” said Mr. Lester Ingram, COO of Metrojet Limited.
Metrojet’s professional multilingual flight dispatch team located at Hong Kong International Airport is standing by to process flight requests and prepare all of the necessary permits and in-flight catering preferences. Its highly experienced multicultural flight attendants attend VIP service training at its sister company, The Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong.
