MANASAS, Virginia – Metropolitan Aviation, a leader in aircraft charter, acquisition, sales, and management, has launched a new and enhanced website that allows customers to request a charter quote directly on the site. It has also expanded its charter aircraft fleet to
include an additional Falcon 50, Hawker 400XP, and Cheyenne II turboprop, with plans to add a managed Gulfstream GIII by the end of the year.
According to a press release received by Elite Traveler, Metropolitan Aviation’s new website, www.metropolitanjets.com, includes an online quoting tool, details on available charter aircraft including aircraft amenities and interior/exterior photos, and information on
Metropolitan Aviation’s other services such as aircraft acquisition, sales, maintenance, and hangar service.
Metropolitan Aviation recently added a second Falcon 50 to its existing fleet of charter aircraft. The newly-added Falcon 50 is based in New York, can carry up to nine passengers worldwide, sleep four comfortably, and
offers a full forward galley, two DVD players, front and aft flat screen monitors, and satcom on board. “Overall, our fleet offers a good variety
of aircraft that can service the needs of our clients,” said Alan Cook founder, CEO, and Director of Operations for Metropolitan Aviation. “As our customer base continues to grow, we plan to add more long-range
aircraft to our fleet by the end of the year.”
Flight crews for Metropolitan Aviation are full-time employees and include certified cabin attendants and fully qualified captain crews on all flights. “Our staffing is unique in that all of our flights are piloted by two fully qualified captains,” said Cook. “By having our crew as
part of our full-time staff, we can ensure our passengers receive a high-quality experience and that our crew members are fully trained and
certified to operate the specific aircraft.” Metropolitan Aviation also has its own hangar, maintenance facilities, full-time technicians, and
fuel, which further extends the level of safety beyond the crew to the aircraft itself. It also currently manages seven aircraft, with additional
aircraft under negotiation.
