BEVERLY HILLS, CA – Alan J. Fuerstman, Founder and CEO of Montage Hotels & Resorts, announced the opening of Montage Beverly Hills, the company’s long-awaited second property. The company’s flagship property, Montage Laguna Beach, opened in 2003.
Montage Beverly Hills, a 201-room luxury hotel situated in the “golden triangle” of Beverly Hills, opens its doors to the public on November 17. Fuerstman personally selected renowned hotelier and Managing Director Ali Kasikci to direct the operations of the 201-guest room property, which is the first new luxury hotel to be built in Beverly Hills in more than 16 years.
“I am delighted that the second hotel that continues our distinctive Montage brand of hospitality for the affluent traveler will soon come alive with staff and guests,” said Fuerstman. “Montage Beverly Hills stands as a dynamic tribute to our Associates’ ability to deliver impeccable service with grace and style, and our management’s skill at honoring our corporate vision to provide an experience with a unique sense and spirit of place. I know that all will flourish under the expert leadership of Ali Kasikci.”
Set in the heart of Beverly Hills just steps from world-class shopping and dining, the striking Spanish Colonial Revival design of the property celebrates the rich past of Beverly Hills in sophisticated residential-style public spaces that are at once intimate in nature and grand in detail. Legacy artisans hand-crafted many of these details, including the hand-painted ceilings in the Marquesa ballroom and the Library. A curator-assembled art collection showcases Hollywood’s golden age. Three restaurants are devoted to the most inventive seasonal dining. The two-level Spa Montage offers holistic treatments by the country’s most rigorously accredited staff. Gracious guest rooms and suites offer rich interiors that reflect the area’s glamour estates of the 1920s and 1930s, paired with the latest in technology. Even the outdoor topiary gardens, a first in the area, evoke the feeling of those grand estates.
Montage Beverly Hills, an eight-story hotel featuring 201 well-appointed guestrooms, including 55 suites, pays tribute to both old-style Hollywood and modern day luxury. The exterior, designed in the Spanish Colonial Revival style, couples terra-cotta roofs with authentic tile detailing to complement the rich history and tradition of Southern California’s most celebrated neighborhood. Located steps from Rodeo Drive, in the heart of the Golden Triangle, guests and residents find convenient access to luxurious retailers and exquisite dining. Through every facet, Montage Beverly Hills embodies the essence of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Those who experience it will come to know a life well-lived.
