By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

LAGUNA BEACH, CALIF. – Montage Laguna Beach has added David Allen Baker, a popular vocal artist with a following throughout Southern California, to its live musical entertainment schedule in the Lobby Lounge. Known for his lyrical voice and appealing piano playing, he will appear Tuesdays through Saturdays in the Lobby Lounge, the convivial gathering spot at Montage Laguna Beach celebrated for its comfortable residential ambiance and panoramic ocean views.

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome such a musical talent,” said James Bermingham, Managing Director of Montage Laguna Beach. “His musical gifts will serve as a powerful memory for every Montage guest in our Lobby Lounge.”

The native Texan’s recording career includes numerous song demos, records, corporate industrial productions, TV promos, in-show performances, radio jingles and TV advertisements. Songs or adaptations from his solo CD, Ten For The Road, which he co-wrote and produced with Rick Cowling, have been used in promos for NBC’s Third Watch and in-show on NBC’s Las Vegas. Baker has also been heard as a vocalist on CBS’s The Guardian and The Agency, as well as on promos for the ABC show, Gideon’s Crossing, and in many cable television productions.
