Montblanc won third place in the “Montre de l’année 2009” watch award for the “Nicolas Rieussec Monopusher Chronograph Automatic.” The prize was presented to Lutz Bethge, CEO Montblanc International GmbH, on the evening of October 28, 2009 at the awards ceremony in Geneva.
The prestigious award “Montre de l’année” was presented for the 16th year in succession. A jury of experts, comprising specialists from the watch industry, compiled a shortlist and selected the best watches of the year. This year, the “Nicolas Rieussec Monopusher Chronograph Automatic” by Montblanc earned a place on the winners’ rostrum by being chosen as one of the three best watches of 2009.
