Celebrate the spirit of the holidays with The Twelve Days of Christmas at Meadowood Napa Valley, benefitting Share Our Strength. There are a few changes in store for the 2012 celebration running Friday, December 7, through Saturday, December 22. These exclusive holiday feasts will continue to pair world-renowned chefs with twelve of Napa Valley’s legendary vintners. While creating twelve unique evenings to delight guests, all are joining forces in support of Share Our Strength’s important mission: ending childhood hunger in America by 2015.
New for 2012 his year, Twelve Days chefs will work in collaboration with Chef Christopher Kostow each evening in The Restaurant at Meadowood kitchen. Chef Kostow will also be traveling to several of the guest chefs’ restaurants to spend time in their kitchens, observing their techniques, familiarizing himself with their signature flavors, resources and culture and meeting the sources of their inspiration. When the chefs travel to the Napa Valley, Chef Kostow and his team will introduce them to the students and faculty at St. Helena Montessori, with whom Meadowood has forged a tremendous partnership. Celebrating Meadowood’s close ties to The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) at Greystone, all Twelve Days chefs will also take part in a lecture series with the school for the benefit of the CIA’s students.
