A luxury hotel with a contemporary sense of functionality and aesthetics, the Okura Prestige Taipei is set to open August 3 in the bustling business district of Zhongshan in central Taipei. Traditional Japanese style is seen fused with modern western amenities to bring business and leisure travelers alike an all-inclusive destination that’s sure to cater to every modern-day need.
A testament to architectural innovation, the Okura Prestige Taipei occupies seven stories underground, while the remaining 18 above offer breathtaking views of the cityscape and surrounding scenic mountains. The dazzling structure is home to 208 exclusively designed guestrooms that exude grandeur through spacious ten-foot ceilings and decadent oriental motifs.
“We could not be more proud to introduce this new hotel, the second of our new ‘Okura Prestige properties,” said Toshihiro Ogita, president and CEO of Hotel Okura Company Limited. “We hope our international guests will enjoy the top luxury we represent and the proximity to so many of Taipei’s key attractions.”
To commemorate its opening, Okura Prestige Taipei will be offering its first guests from August 5 to 31 a variety of celebratory packages including the Okura Experience and Prestige Packages with astounding deals on luxury accommodations, as well as daily breakfast and Okura Floor Privileges (starts at $5,800 a night).
