In celebration of Mar y Montaña, Orpheus is offering its elite visitors an exclusive package designed to fulfill every holiday whim with a tasty Spanish touch, including three nights in a laid-back luxe beachfront accommodation, all gourmet meals infused with Spanish flair, dinners accompanied by premium Spanish wines and two traditional Spanish cooking demonstrations led by chef Albalate. Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to embark on scenic flight transfers between Townsville and Orpheus, providing them with some of the most exclusive and magical views of the Great Barrier Reef.

Chef Marc Albalate will lead visitors on an enriching culinary journey as he showcases the most authentic and beloved dishes from Spain’s diverse coastal and mountainous regions. Guests can further develop their gastronomical skills by taking part in traditional Spanish cooking demonstrations where they will get insight into the delectable art of preparing some of Spain’s favorites, including pintxos, paella and gazpacho, which will be followed by a feast on the results with sangria in-hand.

Orpheus, a secluded island located amidst the magical waters of the Great Barrier Reef, stretches across seven miles of immaculate turquoise coastline and comprises of a pristine National Park and surrounding World Heritage-listed Marine Park. The fringing reef of this Great Barrier Reef resort is one of the most spectacular and diverse, with the added luxury of not having to travel offshore to experience it.

Unlike other luxury Queensland resorts, Orpheus offers guests a plethora of once-in-a-lifetime experiences: be it a fishing trip where the day’s catch is grilled on an open fire of a nearby cove, an indigenous-led tour of the culturally rich neighboring islands, or taking a dinghy and chef-prepared gourmet picnic hamper and discovering the many pristine bays and reefs that fringe Orpheus. Accommodating just 34 indulged guests at any one time, this getaway provides the perfect backdrop for a more private and quieter interlude for jetsetters who long to shut off from the outside world, but still wish to experience the best of it.
