Golfers who might be short on time don’t have to sit out the 2009 golf season. International golf and lifestyle tour operator PerryGolf’s 2009 tour schedule includes four-night tours to some of the most popular courses in the British Isles.
Each of PerryGolf’s four-night “golfbreaks” includes at least four rounds at top courses along with lodging and a rental car. British Isles options include Scotland and a guaranteed round at the Old Course, St. Andrews; England’s Lancashire Coast, where golfers can play three major championship venues (Royal Birkdale, Royal Liverpool and Lytham & St. Annes); and Ireland’s southwest coast, where Ballybunion and Waterville highlight the itinerary. The Spanish Costa del Sol tour includes rounds at Sotogrande Old and San Roque Old.
In all, PerryGolf offers 10 tours priced under $3,000, including trips to Portugal, South Africa, France and the British Isles.
“The strength of the U.S. dollar along with good availability and the cooperation of many of our longtime golf and lodging suppliers around the world have made it possible to offer the most value-conscious schedule in our 25-year history,” said PerryGolf co-founder and president Gordon Dalgleish.
The dollar’s improvement also creates an opportunity for travelers to save on PerryGolf’s 2009 British Open by Sea cruise of Scotland and 2010 Ryder Cup program at Celtic Manor in Wales. A party of two will save at least $4,795 and as much as $9,945 when both tours are booked at the same time and by March 31, 2009.
