Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts, together with the Swiss textile manufacturer Jakob Schlaepfer is to start a stylish, chic and trendy pillow collection in the midst of the festive season. The collection will be available as a limited edition from December 1 2012 via the online shop “Swissotel at Home”.
The two partners with Swiss ties will be celebrating the first year anniversary of their cooperation, which has focused to date mainly on interior design. Most of their materials are produced by modern industrial laser techniques but only to a degree. More so extravagant needlework is still used, by which punched folia, floral ribbons or sequins are delicately and separately attached by hand.
Thousands of new designs are created annually by the textile manufacturer Jakob Schlaepfer, In addition, materials for Haute Couture and designers such as Chanel, Vivien Westwood and Marc Jacobs, curtains, wallpapers and other wall coverage materials have been produced. The innovative pillow collection incorporates the designs and patterns of the jointly-completed projects and complements the silk scarves, which were created by Jakob Schlaepfer for Swissôtels and are available in the online shop.
