San Francisco, California – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine
On Thursday, Porsche Design opens the doors to its newest store on San Francisco’s Grant Avenue, in the city’s premier luxury shopping district.
The boutique will carry the entire range of Porsche Design products, which runs the gamut from luggage and leather goods to writing tools and watches. An expanded line of apparel features classic, sporty pieces for both men and women.
“San Francisco is an important location for our brand,” said Porsche Design Group CEO Dr. Juergen Gessler. “The Bay Area holds great potential for our luxury brand. The people living here are creative types that support and seek out good design. With our purist, timeless and functional Porsche Design philosophy, we do not follow any trends but set our very own accents. The idea behind that lifestyle matches perfectly with the San Franciscans’ lifestyle.”
The San Francisco store is also Porsche Design’s first green venture, boasting ecologically friendly fittings like LED-equipped light boxes to reduce power consumption. The store’s design is a fusion of natural materials, such as smoked oak wood, and the latest in technology, including LCD monitors screening short films of the product line.
