Sydney, Australia – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
Sydney’s prestigious Westfield Mall is the site of Prada’s latest flagship boutique. The Italian house’s sister label, Miu Miu, also set up shop nearby with its first boutique in Sydney.
The new Westfield department store location marks Miu Miu’s third boutique in Australia. Designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, the store features a striking façade, complete with backlit damask, in addition to plush sofas and armchairs that invite visitors to make themselves at home. The ground floor will carry the label’s accessories and footwear offerings, while the first floor houses ready-to-wear.
Also designed by Baciocchi, Prada’s newest outpost boasts two levels stocked with ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear for both men and women. A visually stunning exterior, punctuated by steel cones for an interesting optical effect, gives way to interiors filled with crystal and polished steel showcases, smoky mirrors and black and white checkerboard marble flooring.
