Named for the Japanese word for enlightenment, the new Satori programs offer four or five days of spa and fitness activities in an inspirational desert setting, and are designed to accommodate everyone from individuals on a personal journey of enlightenment to couples, groups of friends and co-workers.
Every element of a Satori Retreat is customized to the participant’s needs, and each spa-goer will gain valuable insights during their stay that they can incorporate into their lives long after they leave the “sanctuary” of this award-winning boutique resort. Participation is limited to ensure that every Satori spa-goer enjoys an exceptional level of personal attention.
Satori’s signature retreat is the Satori Spa, which offers four nights and five days of relaxation that begins the moment the resort’s town car whisks the spa-goer from the airport to his or her Sanctuary Casita or Private Home. Days are filled with luxurious spa treatments, private rejuvenating exercise classes, nature walks, and spa meals individually created for each participant by Sanctuary’s award-winning Chef Beau MacMillan.
Satori Wellness includes four or five days of custom-designed wellness activities designed by a certified personal trainer who will personally guide the spa-goer through an individualized health and fitness program, including an automated weight management plan (based on lifestyle information provided by the guest in advance), and a fitness assessment conducted upon arrival. Guests choose daily from a variety of private fitness activities, such as Pilates, desert hikes, tennis and more, and are treated to spa pampering at the world-renowned Sanctuary Spa. About two weeks after departure, the trainer will follow up with each participant to provide further motivation and adjust the guest’s personal plan as needed.
Satori Adventure invites the spa-goer to take on new and exciting challenges: mountain biking the region’s most rugged trails and hiking and rock-climbing up the most spectacular mountains in the Valley of the Sun. Horseback riding, swimming and kayaking are other options in this four-night, five-day adventure custom-designed by a Satori guide. Also included are spa treatments and means from the resort’s award-winning American cuisine with Asian accents menu.
Stress management is the focus of Satori Executive, a four-night, five-day corporate package that also addresses business etiquette, corporate Pilates and yoga, fitness programming and nutrition in a series of enlightening workshops. Satori Romance is the ultimate couples’ retreat. Intimate and exclusive, it begins with a half day of spa treatments for two in the Sanctum outdoor treatment room. Couples enjoy private exercise classes that range from Moonlight Yoga to Sunrise Pilates, mountain hikes and nature walks, and dining for two from the resort’s Romantic Dining Menu, served privately on their patio or in their own casita.
