Seabourn Offers Free Business Class Air On Europe Cruises In 2010

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

MIAMI, FLORIDA – The Yachts of Seabourn is offering complimentary round trip business and economy airfare from 27 North American gateways to 52 European voyages in the summer of 2010. The featured cruises are aboard four of its intimate, all-suite yachts – Seabourn Spirit, Seabourn Legend, Seabourn Odyssey and the new Seabourn Sojourn, slated to debut in June 2010. To qualify, bookings must be made between January 4 and February 28, 2010.

Special promotional fares, which save up to 50 percent off brochure fares, start from $3,799 per person, based on double occupancy and, during this promotion, include economy or business class air, depending on the suite category booked, plus airport transfers. Guests booking Odyssey and Sojourn voyages will receive free economy class air for suite categories A through V6, and free business class air for PH through GR. On Spirit and Legend, bookings in categories A through B3 include economy class air, and bookings in Classic or Owners Suite categories include business class air.

“This inclusive air promotion makes this the best time ever to book a Seabourn yachting vacation in Europe,” said Pamela Conover, Seabourn’s president & CEO. “It’s also the perfect opportunity to experience the beautiful new Seabourn Sojourn in her maiden season.”

The voyages span the entire European cruising season between May and September 2010, departing from Istanbul, Rome, Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Venice, Athens, London and Copenhagen. Cruises of seven to 12 days explore the French and Italian Rivieras, Spain, the Adriatic and Dalmatian coasts, the Greek Isles and Turkey in the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as the Baltic, Russia, Scandinavia and the Scottish coast.

The 450-guest Seabourn Odyssey, which launched in June 2009, has been hailed as “a game-changer” for luxury cruising, while the 208-guest Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Legend have won Best Small Ship honors from Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisureand the luxury travel advisors of the Virtuoso Travel Network. A sister yacht to Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn is scheduled to begin service from London in June 2010.
