Palm Beach, Florida – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
Fractional jet operator NetJets has joined Signature Flight Support Corporation, the world’s leading FBO network, for an opening that will provide NetJets with a dedicated, private terminal at Palm Beach International Airport in Florida. The revamped terminal is an expansive property of 10,000 square feet and is outfitted with every modern-day, international-travel amenity, as well as six acres of paved ramp, aircraft movement and car parking areas. The two leaders in private aviation will celebrate the success of the auspicious project on September 13 with a groundbreaking ceremony at Signature’s facility at Palm Beach International Airport.
The brand-new terminal will be located on the northwest corner of the airfield and will feature a streamlined passenger transition to and from the aircraft ramp, modern furnishings, conference and business center capabilities, crew lounge and rest areas and flight planning facilities.
“This agreement with NetJets allows Signature to offer enhanced services to NetJets owners and crews while at the same time expanding our capacity at Palm Beach International Airport,” said S. Michael Scheeringa, president, Signature Flight Support. “The long-term nature of the agreement further solidifies our valued relationship with NetJets.”
Adam Johnson, president of sales, marketing and service for NetJets North America said, “Signature is a customer-centric flight support services provider for NetJets and we look forward to welcoming our owners to this new state-of-the-art facility in Palm Beach. The new, dedicated facility will be built and operated to NetJets’ specifications and owner preferences. Signature shares NetJets’ dedication to safety and service, and we have complete confidence that their exceptional performance and commitment to serving their customers’ needs will meet and exceed the expectations of our owners and crews.”
