Six Senses at Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay, Turkey
Six Senses won 13 awards across six categories in the annual ranking.
Spa-goers worldwide determine the winners, voting on service excellence in 14 categories, such as Europe’s Best Boutique Luxury Spa, awarded to Six Senses Rue de Castiglione in France, and the Best Luxury Resort Spa in Turkey, won by Six Senses Spa at Kempinski Barbaros Bay. The Six Senses organization as a whole was also named the Best Luxury Spa Group in Asia.
Voting for the 2013 award-winners was particularly competitive, per executive manager Marinique de Wet. “We’ve never received so many entries as we did this year,” she commented. “It has been a truly thrilling experience to see who eventually came out on top.”
