Opening in late December, France’s first Six Senses urban sanctuary—Six Senses rue de Castiglione—brings Parisian flair to the world-renowned Six Senses spa.
The facility is conveniently located near famous attractions like Rue St. Honore and the Louvre. Perfectly integrated into these historic surroundings, the interior draws on the city for inspiration, from the famed skyline to the Jardin des Tuileries. The interior design balances the elements of sky and earth, using natural woodwork crafted by skilled local artisans. Two double and four single treatment rooms, envisioned as organically shaped “cocoons”, are made from light hand-curved oakwood and decorated with back lighting to resemble the glow of a Japanese lantern at night. A serene evergreen garden, created with the ancient hanging gardens of Babylon in mind, uplifts the senses.
Six Senses’ signature packages and rejuvenating Asian-based treatments, including half-day “sensory journeys”, ensure that guests leave feeling rejuvenated and ready to face the bustling urban lifestyle.
