The luxury retreat’s 13,000-square-foot Spa Miri Miri is a world-renowned destination with a dreamscape location on its own private island in the lagoon, as well as a delectable selection of Tahitian and Pacific Rim treatments in seven luxurious spa treatment rooms. Come January 2012, the five-star spa will treat itself to a partnership with luxury-acclaimed cosmetics brand Clarins. Sure to delight even the most pampered of senses, the spa will be relaunched as Spa Miri Miri by Clarins after a closure for complete renovation from October 1, 2012. Until its reopening, massage treatments will take place in the resort’s Oceanfront Retreat Villas, specially set up for privacy and relaxation facing the regenerating surf.
To further enhance the resort’s dining experience, a new outdoor deck linking the contemporary Sushi Take and Te Pahu restaurant with a soon-to-open authentic Italian restaurant will create an alfresco venue in line with the St. Regis ethos of carefree elegance.
Ongoing villa upgrades to the resort’s ultra-private selection of 1,500 to 13,000 square-foot rooms will have guests enjoying refreshingly romantic interiors in addition to the accompanying private pools, private gardens, private beach access and plunge pools. The lighter new look with vibrantly hued accents reminiscent of French Polynesia’s tropical colors scheme will inspire impassioned relaxation, while the updated sweet-smelling Cedar and Siberian ash wall treatments will further add to the suites local flavor.
