Suites Undergo Enhancements At Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North

By Zahra Al-Kateb

Commencing July 2014 and set for completion in early fall, all 22 suites at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North will undergo a $750,000 enhancement effort, introducing updated rugs, upholstery, lamps, sleeper sofas and the “Signature Sleep by Four Seasons” customized bed.

“We are fortunate that our ownership group, Walton Street Capital, L.L.C, has continued to allocate significant capital investments to ensure the property is positioned as a leader in the Southwest in regard to product freshness, innovation and service,” says Regional Vice President and General Manager Vince Parrotta.  “Additionally, we are thrilled to bring the new customized Four Seasons bed to our Scottsdale property, offering guests their choice of comfort with interchangeable bed toppers.”

Leading the enhancement efforts is Dallas-based design firm, Paul Duesing Partners, who spearheaded earlier projects including Proof, an American canteen, restaurant, which launched in fall 2012.  Bold, vibrant colors – still in keeping with the palette of the desert in bloom – highlight the design.  Residential-style rugs, upholstery, lamps and other accent pieces will bring a warm, inviting feel to the suites.

Setting the suites apart is a variety of differentiating factors, including many featuring spacious outdoor patios highlighted by wood-burning kiva fireplaces or chimineas; private outdoor plunge pools, which can be heated to guest’s desired temperature; and luxurious outdoor garden showers, accessible through the master bathroom shower.  All suites also are equipped with high-powered telescopes, ideal for stargazing, and the turndown amenity is a constellation chart calibrated to the Arizona night sky.  The property’s three luxury two-bedroom suites, as well the three-bedroom Pinnacle Suite, provide butler’s kitchen areas and expansive tables, ideal for entertaining and private parties.

The new Four Seasons customized bed is available in firm, classic or plush mattress, made possible with interchangeable bed toppers. Made in collaboration with Simmons, exclusively for Four Seasons, the mattress features a “Gel Touch Foam Center” to absorb extra heat, keeping the guest in a comfortable temperature zone.  Guests can even bring the sleep experience home with them, with beds, duvet covers, pillows and linens available for purchase.

Nestled in the cooling foothills of Pinnacle Peak, Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North offers a truly handcrafted resort experience – delivering impeccable, highly personalized Five-Diamond service amid the rugged beauty of the lush Sonoran Desert.  From the art on the walls and the cuisine in the restaurants to Native American-inspired spa treatments and adobe-style architecture, the Resort embodies a true “sense of place” in the heart of the Arizona Sonoran Desert.
