BOSTON, MA – It’s a day for dads and their little girls at the Taj Boston Father Daughter Valentine Dance on Sunday, February 8, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
In the Grand Ballroom, fathers and daughters will enjoy dining and social dancing in a long-remembered Valentine afternoon. This ornately decorated room overlooks the Public Garden and Commonwealth Avenue Mall. There will also be wrist corsages for the young ladies and boutonnières for the fathers.
Dance professionals will guide the lively group dance lesson that will bring all onto the dance floor as the music plays waltzes and salsas. Donald Mason is recognized as the dance master of Boston to generations of young students and Susan Cole is a ballroom dance professional and teacher of children’s etiquette classes. Mr. Mason and Mrs. Cole are founders of the Boston Assemblies, the largest and most successful network of social dance and etiquette programs for children in the greater Boston area.
Executive Chef Franck Steigerwald has created a creative buffet of favorites to appeal both to the gentlemen and girls. An Ice Cream Social and Valentine Candy Buffet is the grand finale to the afternoon’s entertainment.
