London, United Kingdom – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
This September, the world’s very first Jaguar Suite will be unveiled at 51 Buckingham Gate, Taj Suites & Residences, just steps away from Buckingham Palace. A collaboration between two TATA-owned companies—Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and Jaguar—the residential two-bedroom luxury suite promises a sleek design that references classic and contemporary Jaguar models, from the legendary 1960s E-type to the state-of-the art C-X75.
Overseen by Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum and his in-house design team, the 1,832-square-foot suite features specially commissioned auto-inspired artwork and displays. Using materials taken from the cars, such as leather, metal and high gloss veneer, Taj’s boutique London hotel now pays homage to the legacy and future vision of Jaguar’s timeless style.
Sleek wood paneling greets guests upon arrival, and Jaguar damask lines the bedroom walls. The minimalistic clean-fuel fireplace references the shape of the brand’s hallmark rear window. A careful selection of themed collector’s items adorn the suite, making lovers of the master marque feel right at home.
Naturally, residents of the Jaguar Suite will also enjoy the services of a chauffeur-driven Jaguar for airport transfers and transportation in London, not to mention 24-hour butler service and daily breakfast.
