The Baur Au Lac Mixes Up The Swisstini

In celebration of its brand-new renovation, the outdoor Terrasse restaurant at Zurich’s renowned hotel Baur au Lac is introducing a special end-of-summer cocktail: the Swisstini.

Albeit most delightful while sipped outdoors at the Terrasse overlooking Lake Zurich, a Swisstini on a rooftop in New York or at a pool party in Los Angeles will do as well (just swap the cross for your favorite accent).

To make:
Combine 1 1/3 ounces vodka, 1/2 ounce crème de framboise, 3/4 ounce raspberry purée, 1/5 ounce lime juice and a dash of simple syrup. Shake and pour into chilled martini glasses. For the white cross, use two thin pieces of white chocolate. Hint: the layer of foam on top keeps the white chocolate afloat.
