By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

The Fairmont Southampton and The Fairmont Hamilton Princess are the Official Hotel Sponsors for The 2009 Bermuda Music Festival, which will be rocking the island with today’s best contemporary music at the Keepyard in the Bermuda Maritime Museum at the Royal Naval Dockyard on October 29-31, 2009. Both hotels offer special packages, which offer a tremendous value.

This year’s festival headliner will be Quincy Jones & Friends performing on Friday and Saturday, October 30 and 31. The festival will begin Thursday night, October 29, with two-time Grammy nominee NE-YO and many more exciting acts to be announced.

The Fairmont Southampton and The Fairmont Hamilton Princess will have two levels of packaging for the festival: Music Festival Silver and Music Festival Gold. Each package includes three nights accommodation in a luxurious room, transportation to and from the venue each evening and a commemorative Music Festival t-shirt. The Silver Package includes two tickets for the three night of the festival in the “Silver” seating section. Rates start at $999. The Gold Package offers two tickets for the three nights of the festival in the “Gold” seating section, and rates starting from $1199. For those with Festival tickets who only need a guestroom, The Fairmont Southampton and The Fairmont Hamilton Princess each offer rates from $199.
