London, U.K. – Reported by Elite Traveler, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine
Red Carnation, the luxury collection of thirteen five and four star family-run boutique hotels, is delighted to announce their five star hotel in London, The Milestone, was awarded the esteemed position of Top Hotel in the British Isles and the only hotel in London in the Top 100, at the prestigious 23rd annual Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards gala on Tuesday, Oct. 12 in New York City.
This year, 25,916 readers whose passion is travel, voted in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice survey on more than 10,000 properties and destinations, ranking the best cities, islands, cruise lines, airlines, hotels, resorts, and car rental agencies worldwide. The survey, originating in 1988, asks voters to rate hotels on a five-point scale, measuring food/dining, location, overall design, rooms and service.
In the British Isles category, Red Carnation’s flagship hotel in Kensington scooped number one spot, achieving an overall score of 95.8 out of 100, noting guests can expect “a top-notch, luxury hotel with personalized service.” The Milestone, also top position
winners of the Readers’ Choice awards in 2009 and 2007, was also ranked as the only hotel in London in the Top 100 for hotels, a category for hotels who received ‘sky-high scores.’
Jonathan Raggett, Managing Director of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection comments ‘This is a brilliant achievement for the team at The Milestone. At Red Carnation, we invest in our award-winning training and development programs to ensure we constantly
