The Sacks Group Sells Yacht Via “Try Before You Buy” Charter Program

By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

The Sacks Group Yachting Professionals (TSGYP) are pleased to announce the sale of the 112-foot Westport Raised Pilothouse Motor Yacht RAINMAKER by Yacht Charter and Sales Broker Barbara Stork. The yacht’s new owners, who have renamed her MILK MONEY, made the purchase after enjoying several luxury charter vacations on a very similar Westport 112 through TSGYP’s innovative Try Before You Buy® Program.

MILK MONEY (ex-RAINMAKER)

“It was such a pleasure to work with these clients, who had not previously owned a large yacht,” said Stork. “After the first charter we arranged for them with their children and grandchildren in The Bahamas, they realized just how much fun they could have spending a family vacation together on board. Then, during their second through forth charters, they had time to truly evaluate and fall in love with the Westport 112 model. I’m delighted we were able to find MILK MONEY (ex-RAINMAKER) for them.” Listing Broker Brian Long of Westport Yacht Sales also assisted with the sale.

“I had the pleasure of witnessing the clients’ ‘tears of joy’ when describing the true sense of family they have found through their yachting vacations and how wonderful it will be to have their own boat,” said Jennifer M. Saia, TSGYP President and Charter Specialist. “They don’t mind sharing MILK MONEY with charter guests, and have decided to put her in The Sacks Group Charter Marketing Fleet in order to take advantage of our team’s expert knowledge and logistical support.”

Not only did TSGYP’s Try Before You Buy®Program clients help Stork’s clients make an informed decision about their purchase, but it also introduced them to veteran charter Captain David Laird, who will take over MILK MONEY’s helm. “Once Captain David agreed to come aboard, the owners knew they would have a sensational charter program,” Stork said. “We look forward to booking lucky clients on the yacht.”

Delivered by the Westport Shipyard in 2001, MILK MONEY is a composite, semi-displacement motor yacht with a cruising speed of over 20 knots. She accommodates eight guests in four luxurious en suite staterooms. A shallow draft of 5’6″ makes her ideal for shallow waters like The Bahamas. A terrific water-sports platform, she has a tender and two WaveRunners, and the owners also plan to offer her with an additional sporty tow-behind tender in select charter areas.

MILK MONEY is available for luxury charter vacations in Florida and The Bahamas this winter. At this point, the Holiday weeks are still open, but interested clients should act now as those dates are sure to be reserved quickly!
