By Pardhasaradhi Gonuguntla

Guadalajara, Jalisco – The Governor of the State of Jalisco, Emilio Gomez, announced that as of today, all business will resume activities in the parts of the state where there has been no evidence or confirmed cases of the H1N1 Influenza virus to date.

As of May 13th, 98 municipalities will continue all types of business activities, while at the same time, proactively continuing to take every measure needed to comply with sanitary preventions dictated by health authorities.

Business activities will resume without interruption in the areas where no new cases of H1N1 Influenza have been confirmed and do not appear to endanger the lives of people. Each municipality will be individually evaluated and schools throughout the state continue to be suspended until Monday, May 18th.

Gomez also informed that Federal Authorities have reported five new confirmed cases. Jalisco has registered 35 cases of the 2,282 cases reported nationally in Mexico.

The Governor advised that residents of the state should not let their guard down and continue taking the proper precautions.
