New York, New York – Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
On May 6, 2010, the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) founded its Italian Chapter in Vicenza. The WJA brings together over 1,000 women working in the jewelry industry around the world.
The prestigious Italian Association was formed in hopes of bringing innovative new ideas and business opportunities to the jewelry world and to show members of the WJA the true meaning of Italian style.
Pilar Coin, Chapter President and Marketing Director at Roberto Coin, underlined the “ethical aspect of the system, leading to a higher awareness of the companies and the consumers,” while Hon. Irene Pivetti, the Vice President of WJA and a renowned journalist and columnist, praised the “humanitarian aspects that will move the Association, supporting the personal growth of the less fortunate in Italy and in the developing Countries.” She has also encouraged a friendship with LTBE, Learn To Be Free, a foundation of which she is President.
