This past month, thought leaders from all over the globe flocked to sunny Mexico City for the first-ever “Think-20” meeting. This gathering was held in preparation for the upcoming G-20 Summit, the until-recently biannual tête-à-tête between the world’s most powerful financial governors and heads of state.
This year, representatives from 19 countries and the United Kingdom will be meeting once, in the much-loved city of Cabo. Attention to more effective collaboration and strategic innovation aside, the twenty-plus Think-20 participants highly endorsed the green initiatives on Mexico’s agenda.
As tourism becomes a priority, sustainability has become extremely crucial to the country’s rich offerings for golf getaways, fishing excursions, and other luxury experiences. In the coming years, strong growth will be key for catering to the mounting number of travelers who turn to Mexico’s lush landscapes for elite vacations.
