New Zealand- Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
A trio of New Zealand luxury lodges owned by Julian H. Robertson Jr. are banning together for Tiger Tour 2013. The inaugural tour consists of nine nights across The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers and Matakauri Lodge, showcasing all aspects of New Zealand’s wonder and beauty.
The Tiger Tour 2013, offered in both March and April, is based on Robertson’s vision of how guests should experience his favorite destination, New Zealand. Together with his late wife Josie and their family, Robertson created three of the world’s finest award-winning luxury lodges and two top golf courses for guests to enjoy. Each of the three hotels showcases a different area of New Zealand, as the scenery ranges from dramatic coastlines to rugged rural settings.
The tour incorporates the best of New Zealand’s North and South Islands, as guests experience unique findings and have the opportunity to meet some native New Zealanders. Each tour packages includes accommodations, meals, a dedicated guide, ground transportation and three rounds of golf at New Zealand’s top courses. Guests will also have access to various luxury amenities and quintessential Kiwi experiences, including quad biking, horseback riding, jet boating, sailing and a behind the scenes winery tour.
The March Tiger Tour by private jet, offered from March 11-20, will commence at Cape Kidnappers. This particular tour allows guests to experience New Zealand by land and air, combining private jet and helicopter transfers with a maximum of four couples. The April Tiger Tour, offered from April 15-24, includes the same activities and experiences, but guests will be transported using domestic air carrier, Air New Zealand. Tiger Tour begins at $13,900.
