Englishman’s Bay Beach, Tobago
Named by Travel Channel as one of the best Caribbean beaches, Englishman’s Bay Beach is bordered by verdant headlands that cradle a U-shaped beach that stretches for approximately one mile. On the southern end of the strand, a freshwater stream flows from the island’s lush rainforest interior to the sea and just offshore, brilliant coral reefs ripple with tropical fish. Although there are no official facilities, this secluded bay is ideal for relaxing in com plete untouched surrounds.

Las Cuevas Bay Beach , Trinidad

Sheltered by the curved embrace of the Northern Range , the surf at Las Cuevas is gentler than that atMaracas Bay. A snack bar, picnic tables, benches, changing rooms and shower facilities are available to visitors and lifeguards are on duty from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Located along the northern coast, Man-O-War Beach is one of the quieter, less populated beaches on the island. Part of a small fishing village, the atmosphere is charming and the locals are friendly. The long sandy beach and calm waters make the location an ideal swimming spot while the harbor provides spectacular sunset views.

Considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Trinidad, Maracas Bay Beach is an hour’s mountainous drive from the capital city of Port of Spain. One of the most famous aspects of Maracas Bay Beach is the dozen Bake and Shark, a traditional Trinidadian dish that consists of deep-fried shark stuffed in a pocket of deep-fried bread, huts that can be found a few steps away from the water’s edge.
