Milan, Italy — Two of Italy’s top design houses that best represent sleek, sophisticated style are uniting to make fast cars even more fashionable. Versace and Lamborghini introduced here at the Versace mansion today the new Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640 Roadster Versace and a collection of accessories. The stunning white roadster on show represented the latest in the joint designers’ “ad personam” project, which allows individual clients to create personalized sports cars by choosing the equipment specification, body color and interior fittings.
Versace’s version features the design house’s famous Greek key motif on the lower part of the door, white napa leather interiors hand-embroidered with the fret motif, and a transparent engine hood that shows the V12 engine inside.
The matching accessories are crafted in black matte calf skin and bear both brands’ logos. The suit carrier, duffel, trolley bag, briefcase, gloves, shoes and jeans will be available at Versace boutiques and Lamborghini showrooms in November.
