Viceroy Zihuatanejo’s tequila-tasting is comprised of three high-end tequilas ranging from blancos, añejos and reposados, accompanied by different sangritas, an elixir adept at extinguishing the liquor’s fiery bite. The tequila maestro will discuss the origins of blue agave, the type of plant used to make tequila and how it is grown and processed into tequila. At the end of the experience, guests will not only encounter this exclusive taste of Mexico, but also learn the proper way to drink the country’s world-famous spirit.
