South Florida food fans (or gourmand visitors to the Miami area) partial to the Venetian-inspired cuisine of the Cipriani outposts in New York, Los Angeles, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong and other global hot spots can now experience the luxurious dining legacy started by Giuseppe Cipriani at Harry’s Bar in Venice over 80 years ago, in their own backyard, at Cipriani Downtown Miami.
The restaurant’s first Miami location has opened up on Brickell Avenue in a gorgeous space designed by Florentine architect Michele Bonan to pay homage to its nautical location with a chic blue-and-white palette.
Savor Cipriani classics like a house-special carpaccio starter, followed by a pasta course of baked green tagliolini with Praga ham. A scampi al forno entrée, paired with an elegant white from the venue’s extensive cellar can give way to a decadent crema antica dessert. Abbondanza!
