Mixing quintessential British tradition with a modern day need for effective personal assistance, The Savoy’s unique 24-hour butler service is one of the hotel’s most alluring features for travelers from across the globe.
Here, the hospitality aficionado treats Elite to a tour of the hotel’s most expansive and luxurious quarters; the impressive Edwardian Royal Suite – refurbished at a cost of over £2.5 million three years previous and containing unique antiques from the early days of the Savoy.
Davoren says of the suite – which includes a marble foyer entrance, 12 seat dining space, Jacuzzi with steam shower, walk-in wardrobe and its own private kitchen – “It has spectacular views onto the Thames and when you wake up in the morning and you look out the window, you see Big Ben – so you’ll definitely know you’re in London.”
