By Chris Boyle

Directional Aviation today announced the launch of Skyjet, a new brand whose sole focus is serving the unique needs of private jet charter travelers. “At Skyjet, we will offer a simple promise. We provide private jet fliers “Expertise on Demand’ for each and every trip. Our clients have immediate 24/7 access to dedicated teams of seasoned aviation experts whose sole focus is providing a flawless travel experience,”said Richman. “Skyjet is already one of the largest jet charter companies with a team of 35 professionals and more than 1,000 clients. We are looking forward to continued growth as we lead the industry into a new era of private jet travel. As part of the Directional Aviation family of companies, we are thrilled to have access to the resources required to develop innovative and personalized tools to allow private air travelers to effortlessly access our services in a truly on-demand style.”ˇ

Richman will oversee all of Skyjet’s business operations and brings 15 years of experience in the ever-evolving on-demand charter market. He originally joined Sentient Jet in 2004 and was named managing director in 2012, assuming overall responsibility for Sentient Jet’s on-demand charter business. Earlier, acting on his passion for aviation, he attended and graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and also became a licensed private pilot.

“We are constantly evolving our understanding of the private aviation marketplace and are evaluating how we can best meet the needs of private jet travelers,”ˇ said Kenn Ricci, Principal of Directional Aviation. “Our analyses showed that there continues to be substantial opportunity in the highly fragmented on-demand charter market. Our answer is Skyjet. Having a brand solely focused on this segment will give private charter travelers the flexibility to fly when they want, how they want, with no upfront commitment. There is nobody who knows the charter marketplace as well as Greg Richman, and there is nobody with more passion to improve upon it. The next few months will be very exciting as we continue to evolve and unveil all that the Skyjet team will have to offer.”ˇ
