Dubbed The Ascent Limited Edition 8 watch, the newest Montblanc Exo Tourbillon is the world's first watch with a built-in cyanometer. The manually wound watch (with patented suspended tourbillon) celebrates the first ascent of Mont Blanc's 15,774-ft peak in 1786. At that time, the mountain climbers carried a cyanometer gauge with them to measure the intensity of the sky's color and its changes in the presence of humidity. The gauge on the watch with the sky colors runs around the periphery of the tourbillon cage. On the dial side, Montblanc positioned a hand-carved sculpture of a mythical wyvern creature believed to have lived on the Mont Blanc Mer de Glace glacier.

From the beginning stages of its production process to final finishes, Montblanc aims to objectify time in a way that is accommodating to the present-day consumer but that also anticipates and accommodates future generation wearers.Fusing craftsmanship from across Europe, Montblanc makes its writing instruments in Hamburg, imports its leather goods from France and timepieces from Switzerland to offer the best possible products in every category. This unification of spheres transpires into its watches.Whether moving with automatic or chronograph motion, Montblanc's watches astound through their accuracy and precision. The brand's Summit Lite Smartwatch opens new opportunities to be active through its sprightly aluminum structure and stripped rubber straps. Paired with activity apps, users can spend time efficiently, easily being able to track their progress and meet targets. In a converse but equally agile manner, the Geosphere Limited Edition, which was purposed for military use and exploration, is similarly dependable, while other lines such as the 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date and Star Legacy Full Calendar also promote harmony with the Earth's elements.
