The Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater by Bulgari is officially the thinnest of its kind in the world

The ultra-thin watchmaking market is highly competitive; records are set by shaving off hundredths of a millimeter. And Bulgari excites the watch world with its brilliance in this area.
Last year, Bulgari set a record for the world’s thinnest tourbillon, and this year shattered the record for the world’s thinnest minute repeater with the Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater. This achievement is even more impressive when considering the acoustic difficulty of creating a loud, clear sound in such a small case.
The titanium case and dial are optimized for the best acoustics possible; the hour indicators and seconds subdial are even opened up to amplify the sound.
The in-house caliber BVL 362 is only 3.12mm thick, which when cased is only 6.85mm thick, more than a millimeter thinner than the previous record holder. This watch is limited to 50 pieces.
