Throughout the coming weeks Harrods will be hosting a Celebration of High Jewelry in the Harrods Fine Jewelry Room. Held in collaboration with some of the world’s most revered jewelry houses, the exhibition will feature pieces by brands such as Graff, Harry Winston and Cartier, among many others.
Taking a closer look at the beauty of color in high jewelry, each brand was invited to contribute some of their most extraordinary colorful high jewelry pieces. All of these fit within the opulent theme bringing limited-edition items together with exclusive one-of-a-kind pieces.
In all, 19 brands will be showcasing items from their latest collections. Among these Chaumet will be exhibiting its new collection inspired by evenings at the opera, aristocratic extravagance and the 1920s. The latest Faberge Secret Garden High Jewelry collection then pays tribute to the natural world and the flowers of artist Marc Chagall.
Complementing the fine jewelry on display, the exhibition space will be transformed to reflect the inspiration each brand took for their collection with the inclusion of creative artworks and design sketches representing the skilled craftsmanship behind each item.
Harrods Celebration of High Jewelry will run until 19th August 2017 in the department store’s Fine Jewelry Room.
