Members of 1 Hotel South Beach will arrive through a private entrance with complimentary valet parking before being greeted by the members concierge to store any belongings. Then, it’s over to a chaise lounge at the edge of the hotel’s 600ft beach where wait staff are on hand to serve healthy, farm-to-table fare. Or, get the same view poolside from one of 10 private, air-conditioned cabanas. If you’re bringing the kids, they’ll be engaged in supervised activities while you get some sun.
While ample beach time is certainly an advantage of membership, it’s the health and wellness focus of 1 Hotel South Beach that’s really worth noting. Members receive exclusive access to Spartan Gym — a 14,000 sq ft fitness facility equipped with ropes, obstacles, sauna locker rooms and certified trainers. The gym offers everything from sunset core flow on the yoga deck to HIIT cardio to meditation, also including a 54-bike SoulCycle studio for the spin-obsessed.
Members can enjoy a spa day with access to special pricing at the onsite Bamford Haybarn Spa. The intimate 4,500 sq ft focuses on holistic serenity, embracing organic treatments (like the signature Himalayan Salt Stone massage) and a philosophy of sustainability.
Those who are members also receive access to the James Beard Award-nominated restaurant, Plnthouse by Chef Matthew Kenney. Whether coming from the beach or the gym, members will savor plant-based cuisine that complements the atmosphere of wellness provided by 1 Hotel.
