Commissioned by Harry Hyams and designed by Richard Seifert in 1966, Centre Point exhibits an architectural style that captures the cultural revolution of 1960s London. Now a Grade II-listed landmark, this skyscraper in WC1 is a London icon. In 2015 a major renovation of Centre Point began, and the project is now coming to a close with the unveiling of 82 luxury apartments by design firm Conran & Partners. The 7,200-sq-ft penthouse Number One Centre Point, located on floors 33 and 34, is the most covetable residence in the building, with five bedrooms and a study among its many spaces. The premium fixtures and furnishings are made from natural timber, patterned marble and limestone. While Centre Point’s restaurant hub, The Square, lies at the heart of this development, the building also features a spa and swimming pool, screening and meeting rooms, and bespoke art installations.
