Rivea is situated inside the chic Delano Las Vegas hotel and is the concept of Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse. The restaurant serves elevated Italian and French Riviera cuisine, including some of chef Ducasse’s favorites from St Tropez, and he presents beautiful, laid-back interpretations of classic French dishes. It has a Riviera-esque feel to it with nautical-inspired hues of white and blue. The main draw here are the views: There are canyons on one side and The Strip on the other. It’s located on the 64th floor of the Delano, so be sure to come right around sunset and enjoy a wonderful, fresh dinner afterwards. Executive chef Bruno Riou places a strong focus on seasonal ingredients of the West Coast, which he infuses into each dish. There are many wonderful dishes, but the standouts include crispy socca, or chickpea crêpes, provencal caponata and cured ham tigelle. There are also more casual pastas and pizzettas you can’t go wrong with. Delicious desserts, like tiramisù and apple and quince tatin delight, but it’s the limoncello baba that takes the cake. The Skyfall lounge nearby has plenty of crack cocktails and there is a nice beer and wine menu. We recommend trying one of the sparkling white wines from France or Italy.
