It’s peak season in Monaco and the Festival des Étoiles Monte-Carlo is already in full swing.
Now in its fifth year, this summer-long celebration showcases the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer’s exceptional culinary talent through a series of exclusive, one-night-only dinners. Each event sees the group’s award-winning chefs teaming up with some of the most acclaimed French and international culinary stars for ‘four hands’ collaborations across the group’s most prestigious kitchens.
The Festival des Étoiles Monte-Carlo 2025 has already welcomed a remarkable lineup: Hirotaka Wada, Albert Adrià and Davide Oldani have partnered with in-house legends like Yasunari Okazaki, Alain Ducasse and Yannick Alléno, creating memorable experiences for both locals and visitors at venues such as L’Abysse Monte-Carlo, Louis XV and Pavyllon Monte-Carlo. And there’s still plenty more to come.
This week, we’re heading to the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort for what promises to be an unforgettable night in the principality. Two-star Blue Bay Marcel Ravin will host the fourth dinner of the Festival des Étoiles Monte-Carlo, with a menu crafted by resident chef Marcel Ravin, joined by guest chef Anne-Sophie Pic.

Chef
Hailing from Martinique, Marcel Ravin ventured from his island roots to train in Alsace, Lyon and Brussels before making the Riviera his culinary home. Since 2005, he has led the kitchens at Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, infusing Blue Bay with a bold, distinctive style that combines Caribbean influences with local Mediterranean flavours, led by fresh produce from the hotel’s gardens.
Anne-Sophie Pic’s culinary reach spans half a dozen countries and three continents. Born in Valence, Pic was thrust into the world of fine dining after the sudden passing of her father, taking the helm of the family’s restaurant, Maison Pic. Over the next decade, she worked to reclaim its third Michelin star, reclaiming it with pride in 2007. Since then, her empire has expanded to include acclaimed flagship restaurants in Lausanne, Paris, Megève, London, Dubai and Singapore, earning her the title of the most decorated female chef in the world.

Interiors
Refreshed in 2024, Blue Bay is renowned in Monaco for its bustling open kitchen and breathtaking sea views. Alexandra Saguet’s refreshed design blends warm wood panelling, floral details and metallic touches, all illuminated by chandeliers inspired by the Caribbean balisier flower. Outside, the seafront terrace extends over the Larvotto peninsula, furnished with wood and green velvet armchairs.
For those seeking intimacy, La Table de Marcel offers a ‘restaurant within a restaurant’ experience, with a monumental solid oak table that seats just eight guests.
