Situated in the heart of downtown Nashville, The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, prides itself on celebrating the city’s diverse arts scene and famed Southern hospitality.
With over four decades of art collecting under their belts, the Pizzuti family opened the high-end hotel in 2020, adorning the walls with over 1,000 original pieces of contemporary art from their private collection. Up on the 20th floor, the 2,175-sq-ft Presidential Suite is a picture of refined elegance in shades of silver and gray.
The sumptuous apartment features towering 11.5-ft-high ceilings and panoramic windows for stunning views of the city and nearby Cumberland River.
A striking Italian marble bar with seating for eight spans the open plan kitchen and the expansive living space is dotted with plush velvet wraparound sofas and oversized chairs making it the ideal setting for entertaining guests. In a nod to Nashville’s legendary reputation as Music City, the suite also boasts a unique specially curated collection of vinyl records to play on the Audio-Technica turntable.
In the light, airy master bedroom, you’ll find a king size bed topped with luxurious Frette linens, an 84-inch flat screen TV, and stylish chaise longues – the perfect spot for relaxing in the evening with a cocktail while taking in the views. The floor-to-ceiling marble bathroom is just as extravagant, with dual vanities and an enormous deep soaking tub.
While the suite sleeps three, if you decide to stay with a larger group it can easily be connected with other rooms. In keeping with the rest of the hotel, the apartment is adorned with one-of-a-kind modern artworks from The Joseph’s private collection.
As for dining, head down to Yolan, the hotel’s polished restaurant, directed by respected Michelin-starred chef, Tony Mantuano, where you can enjoy authentic Italian culinary delights and the extensive wine list.
