Fall is in the air and Giuseppe Ruo, Bar Manager at the Library Bar in London’s Lanesborough Hotel, has a collection of some of the oldest and rarest cognacs which are sure to warm up chilled souls. Unmatched anywhere in England, The Library Bar’s renowned ‘Liquid History’ collection, comprises some of the world’s oldest and rarest Grande Champagne Cognacs.
The collection also includes vintage whiskies and armagnacs, alongside a collection of aged Cuban cigars, which are unavailable in the United States. These highly rarefied pre-revolution cigars are of a similar caliber to the cognacs, many of which are extremely rare and were made pre-Castro.
The Lanesborough offers the sexiest spot to smoke in all of London – The Garden Room. The Garden Room is a destination in its own right for those after “the best smoke in town” attracting a sophisticated after-dark crowd. The Lanesborough is taking the Garden Room to a higher lever with the arrival of a walk-in humidor, the first ever to be installed in a London hotel. This will house an impressive 1,000 cigars and 25 private lockers for Clients’ personal cigar collections.
