Cancún, Mexico—Reported by Elite Traveler, the private jet lifestyle magazine
Recently named by Travel + Leisure’s 2012 World’s Best Awards as the best resort in Mexico, the Live Aqua Cancun All-Inclusive Resort—renowned for its unique focus on the engagement of all five senses—is unveiling a vibrant variety of new dining options designed to invigorate the palate and awaken the senses.
With a unique epicurean style cultivated by celebrated chef Eric De Maeyer, the adult-only luxury resort recently unveiled four new restaurants and revitalized the menus of its original three dining options. The Inlaa’kech Lobster & Grill, Sea Corner, Sushi Station and Café Deli Boutique join Azur, Siete and MB restaurants in Live Aqua Cancun’s signature culinary portfolio. Each option takes diners back to the roots of fine cuisine, with the freshest ingredients and spices available. Assisted by a talented team of 10 chefs, De Maeyer, internationally renowned for his Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, developed a unique culinary character for each restaurant by focusing on distinctive flavors.
“Live Aqua Cancun is known for providing guests with an unparalleled luxury experience – a complete immersion into serenity and comfort,” said Chef De Maeyer. “I wanted the new culinary options to reflect that caliber and attention to detail. I developed four entirely new menus with a strong focus on flavor profiles and added a fresh twist to the national and international menus of the resorts previous restaurants.”
Inlaa´kech Lobster & Grill begins with a refined, tranquil setting that sets the stage for unabashed culinary indulgence. Sip on a superior selection of Mexican house wines while choosing from menu items including premium steaks, succulent lobster, colorful kebabs, fresh salads and seafood, all finished with homemade sauces and marinades that make each dish unique. Before the evening is complete, make sure to sample the French flambé by Maître d’ Alejandro Gonzalez or surrender to the creations of Master Pastry Chef Rodrigo Alcocer for a delectable dessert.
Of course no true beach escape would be complete without a dedicated seafood restaurant, and Live Aqua Cancun’s new Sea Corner more than satisfies the requirement with mesmerizing ocean views, unlimited ceviche and tropical cocktails, and some of the freshest seafood south of the border. Following close on its heels is Sushi Station, Chef De Maeyer’s decidedly different take on fine from-the-water cuisine. Offering an outdoor terrace and precise executions of traditional Japanese specialties, Sushi Station provides a perfect quick bite option just across from the hotel’s AKA Bar.
Finally, for on-the-go guests eager to squeeze every minute out of Mexico’s gorgeous sunshine, Café Deli Boutique brings an ideal coffee-shop concept to Live Aqua Cancun. Open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., this new dining option offers coffee, tea, and a variety of pastries sure to get you through your morning fog and over the afternoon hump.
With its four new, sense-stimulating menus augmenting an already established culinary reputation, Live Aqua Cancun now has a true culinary experience befitting its recent accolades. Join the feast today.
