Ranked among Elite Traveler‘s Top 100 Restaurants in the World, Thomas Keller’s culinary tour de fource is unveiling alcoholic options other than beer and wine for the first time in its history.
Keller worked closely with beverage director Dennis Kelly to develop the 60-bottle list, which has hand-picked bottles from every spirit category.
Selections include such rarities as a 57-year-old Macallan scotch in a hand-blown Lalique decanter, Martinican rhum agricole, a Hennessey Cognac bottled for Queen Elizabeth’s coronation, and both yellow and green vintage chartreuse they unearthed in European monastaries.
While no cocktails will be served, the spirits will be offered as an after-dinner, outdoor digestif alongside a selection of pre-embargo Cuban cigars.
The French Laundry is located in Yountville, CA, and has been awarded three Michelin stars.
