Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa opened this month on the eastern crescent of the so-called ‘Eighth Wonder of the World,’ the Palm Jumeirah.
The new resort is home to the first glass-floored Overwater Villas in Dubai and the UAE, right on the Arabian Gulf. With floating market-style boats on the lagoons and three wheeler tuk-tuks as the guests’ main mode of transport around the property, the resort fully embraces the company’s Thai roots.
Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa’s accommodations include 293 rooms and villas, all with stunning views of either the lagoons or the Palm. Beach Pool Villas each come with a personal infinity pool, while the two-bedroom Anantara Beach Pool Villa is the ideal fit for families or groups.
The spa is outfitted for pampering with ten lavish treatment rooms, modern European style wet facilities, dry flotation beds, heated Ayurvedic massage tables, a private Hammam Suite, and a traditional Thai Massage Suite. The resort also boasts two fully-equipped gyms and tennis courts.
For dining at the resort, guests can choose between six different culinary experiences: Crescendo, Bushman’s Australian Grill for all-day dining, Asian-themed Mekong, Mediterranean Beach House, Lotus Lounge for afternoon tea and evening cocktails and the Pool Bar or swim-up bar for snacks and drinks. In addition, Anantara’s Dining by Design can organize private dinners for romantic or special occasions.
