NÜRBURGRING DRIVING EXPERIENCE
On July 24 2011 Lewis Hamilton, the 2008 Formula 1 World Champion, drove his McLaren Mercedes to victory on Nürburgring’s historic track at the German Grand Prix. Now elite travelers have the opportunity to drive the very same course and experience the speed and adrenaline rush themselves.
On this famous track, just a few hours’ drive from Frankfurt, you will be given the opportunity to master the iconic “Schumacher S”, a corner designed by the multi-world champion Michael Schumacher, before driving flat out down the pit straight and braking hard on the same piece of tarmac that saw Hamilton pull off a stunning lead against Fernando Alonso. Over the course of this fantastic day, guests are invited to drive the track in their own car before setting off in either a 4-cylinder, 140 horsepower Formula car or an Aston Martin v8 Vantage. The suspiciously named “Green Hell” section of the track is a breathtaking experience of speed, so for one lap you can sit as a passenger in an Aston Martin and feel the thrill of adrenaline as a professional driver will break into the steep corners and accelerate through the straights. Once behind the wheel you will benefit from the Nürburgring Driving Academy’s professional advice, their team know every inch of the track and will give advice on how to improve your time.
