Alice Lascelles Alice Lascelles is a Financial Times contributing editor and the drinks columnist for the FT’s HTSI magazine. She has written for numerous outlets from The Times and The Economist, to the Oxford Companion to Spirits & Cocktails and jancisrobinson.com. She is the author of three books including the The Martini: The Ultimate Guide to a Cocktail Icon, a best-seller which was named 2024 BBC Food Programme Drinks Book of the Year. She is also a regular talking head on the TV and BBC Radio 4. She likes her Martini 5:1 with an olive and a twist.
